Lucy-Rose Graham began studying the cello at the age of 8. In 2019 she graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with BMus (Hons) having studied with leading cellists Richard Jenkinson, Eduardo Vassallo and  Jennifer Langridge.

 

Lucy-Rose has performed solos such as Vivaldi Double Cello Concerto, the Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto No. 1, Piazzolla Le Grand Tango and Bruch Kol Nidre with orchestra in various venues across the UK. As a keen orchestral musician Lucy-Rose has performed under conductors such as Sir Mark Elder. Lucy-Rose regularly plays in shows, feeding her love of musical theatre as well as various events throughout the UK.

Lucy-Rose was the Creative Engagement Manager for the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester before relocating to Norfolk. As part of this role Lucy-Rose took groups of musicians to care homes to perform to residents, initiated a project for a rehab centre and coordinated and managed performing arts conferences for young people as well as putting on large scale concerts for families.

A passion of Lucy-Rose's is teaching which she has been doing since 2014 -  piano, cello, violin, voice and music theory. Her students have 100% pass rate in ABRSM music exams, and many of her students have been awarded music scholarships to their secondary schools and gone on to study music at university. 

As well as teaching individuals, groups and whole classes, Lucy-Rose has written and produced large scale productions for primary schools and community choirs.

Lucy-Rose currently teaches privately both online and in person.

​

As a qualified sound therapist, Lucy-Rose is able to do both individual and group sound therapy sessions and sound baths. Being an advocate for mental and emotional wellness, Lucy-Rose has her level 2 counselling qualification and various NHS mental health certificates in order to support her teaching and outreach work and enable her to work with a wide range of people.
